Mission

The mission of the Colorado Mesa University Foundation is to strengthen educational opportunities at Colorado Mesa University by generating and managing charitable gifts. The foundation serves as the steward of all donations and acts in a fiduciary role to ensure donors’ intentions are honored.

Background Statement

Founded in 1925, Colorado Mesa University is a dynamic institution where donors make a lasting difference in students’ lives. For many, tuition, fees and other expenses are the biggest obstacles to earning a degree or certificate.

As we celebrate 100 years of serving students, we invite you to support the Century Scholarship, which provides Mesa County students access to a high-quality education. Every donation is matched dollar-for-dollar, doubling your impact. Your gift honors CMU’s century of opportunity and helps create the next generation of leaders, ensuring that cost is never a barrier to education.
