Here are a few ways your support makes a difference:

★ Jenny’s story is one example of how music can change lives. At eight years old, Jenny began taking lessons at the Center for Musical Arts. Today, she teaches piano and voice in the same community that helped her get started. This year’s CMA Faculty Inspiration Award recipient, Jenny remembers a shy student who barely sang above a whisper but eventually found the confidence to sing “Count on Me” at a recital. Music helps students find their voices in more ways than one.

★ You create opportunities for artists to share their talents with the community. Our Tiny Stage brings live music and performances to street fairs, festivals, and neighborhood gatherings, providing paid performance opportunities for local artists and bringing music to people throughout the community.

★ You help families experience the orchestra together. At the Colorado Music Festival Family Concert, children and their grown-ups can experience orchestral music together, often for the very first time.

★ You sustain world-class performances and the artists behind them. Each summer, the Colorado Music Festival brings internationally renowned musicians to Boulder and presents world premieres, providing meaningful work for artists and giving audiences the opportunity to experience extraordinary live music.
