CASA of Larimer County advocates for safe, nurturing, and permanent connections to family and community so children who have experienced abuse and neglect have the opportunity to thrive.
In 1987, Judge John-David Sullivan founded CASA of Larimer County, making our organization the first CASA program in Colorado. Today, we accomplish our mission through three core programs:
Court Appointed Special Advocates
CASA volunteers are appointed to open Dependency & Neglect cases in Larimer & Jackson counties. CASA volunteers advocate for children's best interests and ensure that the court has all the information it needs to make informed decisions for a child's care.
Family Connections
Our Family Connections program provides fee-free supervised visitation & safe exchange services to the community. Our staff provide case management services, a safe environment at Harmony House, and evidence-based training for parents to grow their skills and knowledge.
Trust-Based Relational Intervention®
TBRI® is a trauma-informed framework that provides training, resources, and tools for parents, caregivers, and professionals working with children who have experienced abuse or neglect.
