📚 Thousands of Dollars Given to Education & Service Projects
The Mission of Broomfield Rotary is to deliver impactful services for families and individuals, improve education, and change lives in Broomfield and around the world.
The Broomfield Rotary Charitable Foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that is supported solely by fundraising events and voluntary contributions from members and friends of the Rotary Club of Broomfield. Rotary Club members share the commitment to service that began in 1958 with the founding of the Rotary Club of Broomfield – the first service club in Broomfield.
The Broomfield Rotary Foundation, Inc. is the foundation of the Rotary Club of Broomfield. The mission of the Foundation and Broomfield Rotary Club is to secure the resources necessary to support the Mission of the Broomfield Rotary Club: Since its inception on April 3, 1998, the Foundation has given thousands of dollars to support local charitable funds, education and service projects.
The Broomfield Rotary Charitable Foundation fund is the primary sponsor of Broomfield's Police and Fire fund, and the Imagination Library and many other grants. In addition, the Charitable Foundation's general fund, along with the Broomfield Rotary club's "Random Acts of Kindness" help to deliver numerous impactful services, improve education, and change lives in Broomfield and around the world.

Imagination Library Broomfield
The Rotary Club of Broomfield is partnering with local individuals and businesses to achieve just that by bringing Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to Broomfield, Colorado. From birth until a child's 5th birthday, children enrolled in the program receive a new, age-appropriate book mailed to their home every month. By the time these children enter kindergarten, they have their own library of books, are more prepared to enter school, and excited about reading. All families in Broomfield with children birth to age five are eligible to enroll.
Grant A Dream Foundation
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks for the generous grant you awarded to Grant A Dream this spring. Your support made a huge difference, and we're so grateful for your belief in our mission. I'm thrilled to share an update on the group Dream we just completed in Winter Park on July 18th. We had the privilege of serving 56 dedicated caregiver parents. When they arrived, the weight of the world was evident on their faces and in their posture. But over the course of three days, they had the chance to recharge and connect with others who understand their journey. By the time they left, they were smiling, laughing, and truly grateful. They returned home feeling stronger and more renewed, ready to be even better caregivers for their children. Your grant directly contributed to moments like these, and we couldn't be more thankful. We've attached a few photos from the event so you can see the impact of your generosity firsthand. Thank you once again for your incredible support.
Warmly, Ann Townsend
Ear Community Visit
Melissa Tumblin was presented a check from Broomfield Rotary for her non-profit Ear Community which helps families with ear and hearing challenges. The check included 2500 dollars from the Broomfield Club and 2100 dollars from a matching grant from Rotary District 5450. Melissa presented an interesting capsule of the Ear Community’s accomplishments over the past 14 years. The Ear Community has had interactions with over 20,00 people and have provided needed equipment and scholarships to those affected by this impairment throughout the world. The Ear Community has had impact in many countries across the world including North and South America, Europe, South Africa, Asia and Australia. Mellissa’s daughter Ally was the motivator for the non-profit and the Ear Community has made an impressive impact in support of those affected by the condition.
Operation Fayth
by Robert Balzano Thursday evening at our Rotary meeting we had a visit from an extraordinary young lady named Fayth and her parents, Darrel and Melissa Cates. Fayth came to thank us for a $300.00 grant that the Broomfield Rotary Foundation gave them for their nonprofit organization called Operation Fayth. Operation Fayth is an organization that gives back to children who are battling the hardest days of their lives! Fayth is also battling her own battles with Adolescent multiple sclerosis, and other health issues. Despite her own struggles, this truly amazing young lady unselfishly continues to make a difference.
