The mission of the Boulder County Fair is to provide a resource to the community of both rural and urban heritage while showcasing 4-H youth, FFA youth and community members to enhance education and leadership. We provide agricultural opportunities for all attendees, meeting the interests and challenges of a changing world.

Background Statement

The Boulder County Fair is the oldest fair in Colorado at 151 years. It was established in October, 1869. The Boulder County Fair is a "free" fair. We do not charge for parking or general gate admission. In 2019, we had over 160,000 attendees to the fair. We are trying to keep all aspects of the fair affordable for the vast majority that walk through the gates. Our goal is to preserve farming and ranching traditions in Boulder County.
