Boulder School for German Language and Culture

• Our school offers German classes for adults, teenagers and children. Various cultural and social events will encourage relations between German speaking areas and the United States.

Children/Youth Classes
Our classes for teenagers and children are aligned with the requirements of the Common European Framework of Reference of Languages. We prepare our students for the IVA 1 (Internationale Vergleichsarbeiten A1), IVA 2 (Internationale Vergleichsarbeiten A2), Deutsches Sprachdiplom DSD1 and DSD2. Please email for more information. We also offer private classes year-round for one or two students at a time.

Adult classes
For information on the various levels A1 (Beginner) – C2 (Advanced), please refer to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. For a self-assessment go to our link collection.If you have prior knowledge of German but are not sure which class is the right level for you, please email us or sign-up for a language assessment. We also offer private classes year-round for one or two students at a time.

Cultural Events
For our community we offer various cultural and social events. Please join us. Cultural Events for the community include:
Maifest, Fall Celebration, Lanternwalk, December Lichgerfest and Treffpunkt Lesen Bookclub.
