Five to Forever is our campaign to raise $200,000 by Dec. 31 and keep trusted local journalism here for good.
For five years, BRL’s journalists have asked questions, followed public dollars, explained complicated decisions and helped readers understand what’s happening in their community.
We’ve covered threats to Boulder’s federal research labs, wildfire risks, housing decisions and changes to local schools. We’ve created voter guides and hosted mayoral debates so residents can hear directly from the people seeking to lead their city.
And through BRL Today, we’ve made local news part of the morning routine for thousands of readers.

Supported by reader donations, grants and local sponsorships, BRL has grown into a newsroom that tens of thousands of people rely on. As we approach our fifth anniversary, we are building a lasting community institution that will serve Boulder for generations.
