Bailey Theatre Company is a professional theatre company in Bailey Colorado. 2024 marks our 5th and most successful season in doing quality professional theatre in the small mountain town of Bailey.
The theatre was born out of a need to have a place residents and tourist can come to enjoy real theatre in Bailey.
In 2024 we made our most ambitious move to go from doing stage readings to full productions. Our budget this year grew to $25k to give actors, directors, designers and crew 3 full weeks of rehearsal with 2 weeks of performances. This change brought new people to Bailey, and several great reviews.

Mission
Bailey Theatre Company's (BTC) mission is; To create a theater that educates, entertains and inspires through classes and quality productions in Bailey, Colorado. We will produce quality entertainment using Colorado actors, directors, stage managers, designers and technicians.
We will help to create new works using Colorado playwrights, as well as, emerging playwrights throughout the country, to foster new works that the audience will enjoy. In addition, we will recreate the classics so they are reborn and lovingly re-imagined for a new generation. We will work together with the Bailey community and Park County to expand our audience and to make live theater central to Bailey's identity. We welcome diverse perspectives and lively debate in a climate that is open to everyone who wants to pursue a career in theatre.
Background Statement
President & Managing Director - Bill Bruner, Bill brings over 24+ years' experience in tax/accounting to BTC with 9 years at Ernst & Young, LLP. In addition to his business background, Bill has 15 years' experience as a professional actor and over 50 years' experience in the theatre. (Business and theatrical resumes available on request.)
