Who We Are:

At Backpack Society, we're providing food to kids on weekends and breaks when they don't have access to school meal programs. 

We partner with schools in Douglas County, Littleton Public and Englewood School Districts to reach students in need. 

A nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we are located in Highlands Ranch Colorado and are 100% community supported.

Why We Do It:

So kids can focus on important things - Like being a kid! 

The most at-risk students for food insecurity are also the ones who are most affected by the achievement gap and poor academic outcomes that can have lifelong effects. By providing weekend food, we hope students will be well fed over the weekend and can come in Monday mornings, ready to learn.

*Student Weekend Bags - 6 easy to prepare meals and snacks for kids to take home

*Family Groceries - Weekly access to our "No Cost" Market or box of groceries filled with fresh produce, dairy, eggs, meats and staples

*In School Pantries and Emergency Crisis Boxes

*Holiday Meal Boxes
