Avout Racing

The Avout Racing brand is well known as a dominant mountain bike and cyclocross racing team in Colorado, and we continue to expand our presence in road, gravel, and enduro. Our mission is to create the best humans and cyclists through a fun, enthusiastic, and professional team by building a bridge from first pedals to elite racing as great stewards of our environment, families, and communities.  Since our inception in 2013 we have grown to over 400 riders, with both junior and adult teams, from recreational to elite.

We offer four levels of junior programming:

Pre-Pedal and Pre-Rec (ages 2-5) This program introduces cycling to our earliest riders, teaching basics such as balance and pedaling.

Inspire Recreational Program (ages 6-14) This program teaches basic mountain biking skills, our 5 respects (yourself, teammates, equipment, environment and coaches), trail etiquette and usage. Currently we have approximately 300 riders in our Inspire program.

Academy Racing (ages 9-18) This program is a continuation of our recreational program and introduces juniors into racing with a very structured and supportive coaching. The level of riders in the Academy program range from first time racers to National Champions. This program develops and supports riders participating in the High School Mountain Bike League.

Elite Racing (ages 15-23) This program is for elite racers that are racing at a national level. Our goal is to develop and support these riders to move to their next step, riding for a professional team. This includes both on the bike as well as off the bike skills.

Avout Racing supports other entry points into the cycling world with Take a Kid Mountain Biking, Women on Wheels and Adult Racing programming.
