Testimonials

Testimonial from new member Katie Scherr: "Thank you so much for reaching out! I am thrilled to be a part of AFP Colorado and to learn from all of the resources available through membership. I was able to attend the Coffee Chat last week and can already tell that this group and the conversations had will be great opportunities for growth. One of the things I am most excited about through my membership is connecting with other fundraising professionals from outside my organization to keep up-to-date on best practices and new strategies, while also having my thinking challenged. Along those lines, my previous colleague participated in the mentoring program through AFP and found the experience to be invaluable, so I am hoping to take part in that this year! I am grateful for the opportunity to connect with and learn from people like you and look forward to meeting you at one of the upcoming events this spring!"

Testimonial from Protégé Mary Ellen Williams: "The AFPCC mentoring program came at the right time for me. I'm a novice in fundraising, and my mentor helped me understand the nuances as well as the mechanics of fundraising. Best of all, it transitioned into a working relationship to advance Foothills Art Center's development program. It's a win-win."

Testimonial from Chamberlain Scholarship Winner Abby Yeagle: "Thanks to the support of the AFP Chamberlain Scholarship, I was able to attend the AFP International Conference in New Orleans for the first time. I attended some amazing sessions including a two-day CFRE course led by the Fund Diva Kishshana Palmer. I was even able to do some New Orleans sight-seeing including beignets at Café du Monde. The skills I learned at the conference will help me not only further my career but also further philanthropy at my organization and in our community. I am so grateful to AFPCC for this opportunity. I strongly encourage any members who have not attended the international conference to apply."
