Did you know there is a big gap between the public funding Asbury Elementary School receives every year and the REAL cost of meeting all the many unique needs of our students AND maintaining the level of excellence we’ve all come to expect?

That’s where the Asbury Elementary PTSO comes in! And this Colorado Gives Day, YOU can help us bridge that gap! 

Your donation will help the Asbury Elementary PTSO fund all the BIG things:

• Sustaining full-time P.E. and Music programs that enrich every child’s education.

• Providing intervention supports for students who benefit from additional resources.

• Funding Gifted & Talented para and teacher supports to meet diverse learning needs.

• Ensuring equitable support by offering paraeducators the hours they need for health insurance access.

• Advancing Project-Based Learning (PBL) through support staff, staff training, and basic supplies and materials.

• Expanding tools and training for Social Emotional Learning (SEL) programs for all students.

Your donation will ALSO help the Asbury Elementary PTSO fund all the SMALLER things (that make a BIG difference):

• Basic office and school supplies, including printer paper, dry erase markers, pens, envelopes, notebooks, construction paper, and everything else that Ms. Baca needs to run our school and that our kids need to learn (and have fun!).

• Meals and treats for our amazing staff, like our annual Back to School Breakfast, our September Cold Drinks Delivery Cart, and our Staff Appreciation Week bonanza.

• A yearly stipend to help our teachers purchase essential classroom materials, including books, art supplies, and sensory toys that every kid enjoys.

• The Asbury Backpack Program, which provides any family that needs a lift at any time during the year with a backpack full of food at the end of the week.

• Supplies for our favorite annual events like the Fall Carnival, Walk ‘N’ Roll to School Day, the Read-A-Thon, Spring Wing, and MORE!

Every contribution, big or small, makes a huge difference. Whether you give $20, $200, or $2,000, your generosity directly impacts our students and helps us close the funding gap.

And this year, our resources are stretched further than ever. Recent closures of neighboring schools have brought even more amazing students into our Asbury community. And cuts to public education continue to pose challenges. Now more than ever, your support helps EVERY student continue to thrive!
