Founded in 1949, the Aspen Music Festival and School is a leading center for music education and performance, bringing together more than 600 promising young musicians each summer to study and perform with distinguished artist-faculty. In addition to its renowned summer festival, the AMFS provides year-round music education and community programs that reach over 3,500 local children and their families throughout the Roaring Fork Valley. Through free concerts, school partnerships, and hands-on learning opportunities, the AMFS fosters a lifelong appreciation for music and supports the next generation of artists and audiences.
