Our mission is to save lives by reducing the growing list of women, men, and children who are waiting for a transplant by maximizing living organ donations. Our passion is to ensure that the transplant system is equitable for all.
The Problem
Every day, 16 people lose their lives while waiting for an organ that could come from a living donor. Even if every American registers as a deceased organ and tissue donor, there would still be a drastic shortage of organs available for transplantation.
The Approach
Founded in 2005, we are the only national organ transplant nonprofit proactively reducing the transplant waiting list by enabling living donation and transplantation through educational, financial, and emotional support and helping those on the waitlist to find a living donor.
