It’s the season for gratitude and we’re thinking about how grateful we are for the kindness, generosity and support we’ve had this past year. 

Your support today will help us continue to exhibit the extraordinary artwork of Colorado Women Visual Artists.  We've started out strong with six exhibitions at D'art Gallery East and another six at the 1144 Gallery downtown, showing more than 200 Colorado Women Artists this past year.  We couldn’t have done it with your generous support.    

As of today we already have more than ninety museum members, and we're raising funds to toward the purchase a permanent home for your Colorado Women's Art Museum. 

Only about 13% of visual artists shown in US museums is by women.  

We are on a mission to change that.

Elevate: We recognize, highlight, archive and promote the artwork, lives, practices and stories of Colorado women artists, past and present. 

Encourage: We create and provide unique programs, classes, activities, events, experiences, and exhibitions. 

Exhibit: We bring Colorado women artists’ work to exhibition spaces throughout Colorado. We will partner with state and regional art museums, art centers, and arts organizations. We will be the first state in the nation to offer a world-class museum dedicated to the artwork of our state’s women artists.
