Safe Haven rents a small home in North Longmont. This Safe Haven House has a few functions: year-round safe and sober shelter for six (6) homeless men, operations center for our street outreach, and as a Day Shelter twice a week for anyone experiencing homelessness.
Testimonials
From a guest of the 2016-17 winter shelter season:
"Safe Haven is where friends become family, a new and bright beginning, where homelessness ends and a future begins, where the homeless can find hope".
From a board member: "Agape started 11 years ago, I have worked with them every year since, because I could see a need. Lives are precious and we had people freezing in the winter months. My husband and I felt we could help them physically and hopefully spiritually."
From a guest of the 2018/2019 winter shelter season: "I can't believe I was given an opportunity to lay my head in God's house every night. Doing that restored my soul!"
From a guest in 2020: "I now have a place to call home and I finally feel safe."
From a former guest: "Agape kept me away from meth, drugs, off the streets, and parks that I have no business being at. I now have a year clean from drugs and alcohol. Safe Haven has given me a routine that I needed."
From a current year-round guest: "This place and these people are family. I haven't had a family in a long time. I feel like I am home now."
