Feeding each other in a humane and sustainable way is challenging in today’s world. The Ag & Food Lab was founded to help visionary farmers & their allies along the food chain who want to do things differently, and who need practical, wrap-around support to build successful, sustainable businesses. We focus on getting resources to people who have been underserved—and whose knowledge and labor has been exploited—by the top-heavy system of industrial agriculture. The Lab is a space to co-create an emerging, new food system that regenerates the land, the people working it, and the community it serves.
The Lab is dedicated to creating resilient local food ecosystems where farmers are valued, land is honored, and healthy food is accessible to all. We work towards this vision by equitably resourcing visionary farmers and their allies with land access, shared infrastructure, and wrap-around services.
