The Foundation exists to promote and further the purposes of the University; to seek and receive gifts, legacies and grants of money or property and to administer such for the benefit of students. Through your support, the Foundation will continue to help ASU students create their own great story!

The Adams State University Foundation shall:

1. Pursue gifts, legacies and grants of money or property

2. Administer the same exclusively for the educational benefits of the university

3. Promote and support the interests, objectives and purposes of the university in such other ways as the Foundation determines from time to time

Background Statement

The Adams State University Foundation was established on 02/01/1962. Adams State University serves a critical need in Colorado's San Luis Valley and the nation by providing high quality education to a diverse student body. The Adams State University Foundation raises and manages contributions to meet the greatest needs of the University which include: scholarships, work-study programs, support for classroom equipment and technology and leadership development for both faculty and students. The Foundation manages approximately 220 scholarship funds and three work-study/internship programs which are helping students reach their goal of obtaining their college degree.
