Background Statement
We are a first responder family -Tony, a firefighter of 21 years -who saw firsthand how much our community needed a place to pause, breathe, and heal.
In 2015, our passion for helping people and rescuing horses came together, and we began taking in equines who had been discarded. As we cared for them, we realized the healing presence they provided and the power of just being around them.
Acres of Hope Ranch has since grown into a sanctuary and retreat for both people and animals. We provide therapeutic, grounded experiences for individuals with disabilities, first responders, veterans, families, at risk youth and anyone walking through hardship. Our rescued animals, most considered “unwanted” , play an essential role in helping people reconnect, find calm, and rediscover purpose.
With no paid staff and all animals living here as lifelong sanctuary residents, every dollar supports their care and allows us to say “yes” to more healing sessions, more groups, and more lives restored.
