$20,000 Goal

Founded by a first responder family, Tony has served for 21 years and through his work, we began to recognize the deep needs within our community. Our combined passions for helping people and horses eventually led us here.

Acres of Hope Ranch began in 2015, when we started taking in horses others saw as disposable. What we didn’t expect was how profoundly they would foster a space for healing.

Every animal who comes here receives a forever home and a chance to rediscover purpose. And through their stories, the people who visit begin to find purpose in their own.

We welcome first responders and their families, individuals with disabilities, at-risk youth, and people healing from trauma. many carrying weight that can’t be seen. Some of our most meaningful moments come from watching first responders volunteer alongside our disability groups, two worlds quietly coming together in service and healing.

Acres of Hope has no paid staff, and we never charge for any of our programs. Every dollar donated goes directly toward caring for the animals, supporting our weekly activities, first responder retreats and making it possible to say “yes” to more horses and more people who need a place like this.

Mission

Our mission is to empower individuals to find healing and restoration through the therapeutic power of horses and the beauty of nature. We believe that every life deserves a chance to overcome trauma and life challenges, and our goal is to provide a safe and nurturing environment that fosters growth, community, and collaboration.

Background Statement

We are a first responder family -Tony, a firefighter of 21 years -who saw firsthand how much our community needed a place to pause, breathe, and heal.

In 2015, our passion for helping people and rescuing horses came together, and we began taking in equines who had been discarded. As we cared for them, we realized the healing presence they provided and the power of just being around them.

Acres of Hope Ranch has since grown into a sanctuary and retreat for both people and animals. We provide therapeutic, grounded experiences for individuals with disabilities, first responders, veterans, families, at risk youth and anyone walking through hardship. Our rescued animals, most considered “unwanted” , play an essential role in helping people reconnect, find calm, and rediscover purpose.

With no paid staff and all animals living here as lifelong sanctuary residents, every dollar supports their care and allows us to say “yes” to more healing sessions, more groups, and more lives restored.
