ACEC Colorado Foundation supports education and outreach for students and young professionals interested in engineering as a career path by offering scholarships to college and high-school students, engaging with secondary-school students with engineering-focused interactive programs and promoting diverse and inclusive professional environments for consulting engineering firms.

In addition to becoming more involved in student and community outreach, the ACEC Colorado Foundation began the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Firm of the Year Award.
Recognizing and celebrating firms that champion DEI aspects not only honors their efforts but also sets a powerful precedent for others to follow. This award symbolizes the ACEC Colorado Foundation’s desire to create a more representative and welcoming environment within the consulting engineering space, one that values the unique perspectives and contributions of every individual.
To support and promote education and outreach in the field of engineering within Colorado by raising awareness of consulting engineering as a career of choice. The foundation also pledges to utilize the combined resources of the American Council of Engineering Companies of Colorado members and industry partners to become more impactful in fundraising and sustaining foundation assets.
