60 Plus Ride provides free personalized transportation through caring volunteers and staff so that Weld County residents over 60 retain dignity and community connections to support physical, emotional, and mental health.
Our Vision: A community where every senior feels valued, supported, and free to live life fully — no matter their age.
Senior Resource Services (SRS), a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dba 60+ Ride, was established in 2006 with the mission to offer older persons the opportunity to maintain their physical, emotional, and mental health while living independently. The founder recognized a critical need for older adults and their families finding affordable and accessible transportation in order to maintain independence for themselves or loved ones. To respond to this need, 60+ Ride offers a transportation program providing free rides to persons aged 60 and over, regardless of income, residing in the Weld County area. Clients go to medical appointments, grocery shopping, financial and government institutions, dialysis, along with social events, faith community events, senior centers, and personal care appointments and so much more!
The non-profit is staffed by Executive Director Robin Blakely, two full-time employees, and one part-time employee, and three part time drivers and one full time driver.
THE IMPACT: 60+ Ride provides services to over 1,000 active clients with more than 6,000 rides and 10,000 volunteer hours donated EVERY YEAR!
