Mental Health, Regardless of Wealth
At Maria Droste Counseling Center (MDCC), we believe everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health care—no matter their financial situation. Each year, we provide more than 12,000 counseling sessions to individuals and families who might otherwise go without care: underinsured individuals, children and teens, survivors of domestic violence, crime victims, and families navigating trauma or crisis.
As a nonprofit, we sustain this work through the generosity of donors and grants, alongside a unique model that trains the next generation of therapists while serving today’s clients. Every gift fuels this cycle of care—expanding access, reducing stigma, and ensuring that compassionate, effective counseling is available to all, regardless of wealth.
