Dr. Harry Russell Scott Jr - beloved husband, father and favorite golfing partner passed away on Saturday, July 24, 2021, 3 days after his 89th Birthday in Mashpee, Ma. He was born on July 21, 1932 in Kansas City, Missouri to Edna (Hamm) Scott and Harry Russell Scott. Scotty, as he was known to many, moved with his family to Columbus, Ohio and played hoops at North High School, becoming Captain his senior year. After serving as Captain in the US Air Force, he returned to Columbus to establish a successful dental practice in Upper Arlington. His patients will fondly remember him telling them "you only have to floss the teeth you want to keep." Scotty was active in the community and served as President of the Columbus Junior Chamber of Commerce (Jaycees). In 1967 he was named one of the "Ten Outstanding Young Men" in Columbus which happened to coincide with the year his favorite daughter, Dayna, was born! When he retired, he moved to Naples, Florida.

Dr Scott was known for his ability to look at life with a "glass two thirds full" attitude. He loved the game of golf and was lucky to have had 5 holes-in-one over his lifetime. He was a member of Scioto Country Club in Columbus, Ohio, Royal Poinciana Golf Club in Naples, Florida and New Seabury Country Club in Mashpee, Massachusetts. He is survived by his wife, Susan Mullin Scott, his son, Harry Russell Scott III, his daughter Dayna Scott and her husband Ken Langford, his stepdaughter, Suzanne Bernstein and many good friends.
