Judi's House offers research-based services that strengthen families and help prevent complications of unaddressed grief and trauma, so bereaved youth in our communities can move forward in adaptive and healthy ways.
Jaleen Thi and her children, Tristian and Addy, are among those who found healing at Judi's House.
In 2020, Jaleen’s husband, Chuong, died from a traumatic brain injury while on a family vacation. Tristian was just 9 years old, and Addy only 2. The secondary loss of the family's primary income meant Jaleen faced the overwhelming challenge of grieving her partner while caring for her children and navigating an uncertain future.
“I wouldn’t be as strong as I am today if it wasn’t for Judi’s House,” Jaleen shared. “It’s a place no one wants to be, but during unthinkable times it’s an immeasurable gift and helps shape your future.”
