Dream Catchers Therapy Center and End of the Trail Horse Rescue are working to build an indoor arena. This indoor arena would allow for year-round services for client and the horses no matter the time or the weather. There are two phases to this project. The first phase is the arena itself. The arena would allow for year-round Equine Assisted Psychotherapy, Hippotherapy, and Equine Assisted Learning. It would also allow for year round training for the horses that are being worked with to get them ready for adoption. The second phase will include additional offices for therapists, conference room for meeting and for community meetings, additional stalls for horses or hay storage and an apartment to have trainers and barn staff on sight to aid in the care of the horses. The addition of the indoor arena and additional office space will allow Dream Catchers to expand their capacity for therapeutic services due to two therapists being able to work at the location simultaneously. It also allows for a safer environment to work with people that have disabilities as it will be a much more controlled environment and more level ground. It will also provide an area to safely train horses in a more consistent manner that will allow for progressive growth rather than sporadic progress. In order for this project to take flight, we need the help of our community and donors. Our most immediate needs are financial support for excavation costs, electrical, pouring of the foundation, and building materials. This initial phase of the indoor arena is estimated to cost 200,000 or more. Any donation of funds, resources or time will mean greater impact in the life's of the people that we serve and the horses that we care for.
