Denver Asset Building Coalition

The best way to support DABC is by volunteering with us and helping us meet the enormous need that exists in the community. Nothing dictates our capacity to do the work we do like the number of volunteers we have on hand. Beginning in November we provide free training and help becoming certified by the IRS to do taxes, so keep an eye on our website. Our training course is typically 8 hours on a Saturday, and lunch is on us. Volunteering with DABC is a great way to meet new people and get involved in your community in a meaningful way. Volunteers are able to build their resumes by adding new skills and job training and experience, and no accounting experience is necessary. CPAs can even claim up to 14 CPE hours. With locations throughout Denver, Aurora and Jefferson County, and hours of operation in the evenings, weekends and even during the day, DABC has volunteering opportunities that fit anyone's schedule. Please call (303) 388-7030 for more info, email geoff@denverabc.org, or visit www.denverabc.org. DABC worked with 140+ volunteers during 2017 from backgrounds as diverse as our clients, from retirees to students, from seasoned tax lawyers to single parent looking to gain new skills and meet new people. Come join us and impact your community!
