Angela Baber, Executive Director
Start Date: 2020

Angela Baber joined the Jeffco Schools Foundation as their Executive Director in January 2020. Angela's deep and relevant professional experience over the last two decades, coupled with her proven track record in supporting quality and equity in public education preK-12 at the national, state, and local levels, elevated her to the top of the impressive candidate pool.
Angela most recently served as the Executive Director for LEAD STEM with the Teaching Institute for Excellence in STEM, is the Founder and Senior Consultant for IDEA Consulting, spent over five years as an Initiative Director at the Colorado Education Initiative advancing public education across the state, and spent three years at the DC-based National Governors Association supporting governors and their key staff to champion and advance public education.
As the Executive Director of the Jeffco Schools Foundation, Angela will partner with Jeffco District leadership, schools, and educators to expand upon and build program support for key initiative areas that increase excellence and equity for Jeffco students. Focus areas include community engagement, celebrating educator excellence, and building philanthropic partnerships.

Angela is a University of Colorado Boulder graduate with a degree in Astrophysics.
