Cathy Phelps, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2001

Cathy Phelps, M.A., LCSW., Executive Director, oversees the administration of a $1.3 million budget and a staff of 15. Cathy has been the Executive Director since 2002. She a provides direct supervision to the hotline and specialized program services. After earning her Master of Arts in Medical Anthropology from the University of Colorado at Denver, she graduated with her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Denver. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Colorado, and has more than 20 years of experience working in crime victims' programs. Cathy is also a certified Hatha yoga instructor and Zumba instructor.

Amy Ulrich, Director of Administration
Start Date: 1998

Amy Ulrich holds a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management and has been with CTR for 20 years. Amy oversees all administrative functions for the agency, conducts grants management and grant writing for the agency, coordinates agency special events and manages donor and board relations.

Kathi Fanning, Director of Training
Start Date: 1990

Kathi Fanning, MS, LPC, has been a Director at The Center for Trauma and Resilience in Denver, Colorado, since 1990. Kathi received her Master of Science in Counseling from the University of Oregon and is licensed as a Professional Counselor in the state of Colorado and is currently pursuing a doctorate in psychology. She received her certification as a Compassion Fatigue Educator through the Green Cross Academy of Traumatology. Additionally she has a certificate in Trauma Art Therapy and is a registered yoga teacher.
