Marcus Turner, Director of Communications
Start Date: 2018

Marcus Turner has spent his entire career working in nonprofit and arts administration. Since receiving a Master of Music degree from CU Boulder, Marcus has worked for the Colorado Shakespeare Festival, the University of Denver, Northwestern University, and the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District in a variety of roles. At the Arvada Center, Marcus leads efforts in external communications including public relations, marketing, and box office.

Philip Sneed , President and CEO
Start Date: 2013

Philip provides operational leadership and support of the Arvada Center, a nearly $10 million multi-disciplinary arts organization utilizing over 500 full-time, part-time, contracted and volunteer staff in programming, marketing and development, patron services, and administrative and facilities management.

Teresa YoKell, Vice President of Advancement
Start Date: 2014

Teresa YoKell (formerly Chamberland) joined the Arvada Center in January 2014. Her position oversees the fundraising activities at the Center, with goals to expand development and increase philanthropic giving. She has been fundraising for arts and education for the last 13 years. Prior to this, Teresa worked for the Clyfford Still Museum, where she was responsible for a $2 million fundraising goal. Teresa has extensive experience with event planning, annual giving, major gifts, corporate and foundation relations, and planned giving. Before fundraising, Teresa worked as a reporter for the Houston Chronicle. She earned a BFA in journalism and communications from the University of Houston.

Clark Johnson, Chief Operating Officer
Start Date: 2010

Provides leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the Arvada Center has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.

Andy Terek, Director of Finance
Start Date: 2017

Andy has been with the Arvada Center since 2012, where he has held the roles of accounting technician, accountant and senior accountant. He now leads the finance department as Director of Finance. Andy holds a Bachelor's degree in accounting from Metropolitan State University of Denver.

Lisa Leafgreen, Director of Education
Start Date: 1990

Coordinates and manages 900+ classes, workshops and camps; develops and maintains programming and classroom curricula in support of the Colorado Model Content Standards; oversees staff, artists, contract employees, and volunteers related to the Arvada Center's Educational division.

Collin Parson, Director of Galleries and Curator
Start Date: 2008

Collin is the Director of Galleries and Curator at the Arvada Center. Collin began working at the Arvada Center in 2005. His primary role is to oversee the programming of art exhibitions and art-related events throughout the year for the Exhibitions and Gallery program. In his tenure, he has organized over 100 exhibitions in a range of size, scope, style, media and theme. His knowledge of the arts community has developed many different partnerships including Clyfford Still Museum, CU Art Museum, and Kirkland Museum of Fine and Decorative Art.

An arts administrator, artist, curator and designer he received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Design and Technology with emphasis in Lighting and Scenic Design from the University of Colorado at Boulder and is his Master in Arts in Visual Culture and Arts Administration from Regis University in Denver. His own creative work involves the control of light and color to create vivid geometric light and space works. He has had the privilege of jurying many art exhibitions and has received many awards for his artistic and curatorial projects. Parson is a current artist-in-residence at RedLine Gallery, a former member of Denver's historic Pirate: Contemporary Art and was awarded 100 Colorado Creative's by Westword in 2013. Parson is the son of Colorado sculptor Charles Parson, whose experience with the Colorado arts community helped Collin long before his professional career began.

Melanie Mayner, Director of Audience Engagement
Start Date: 2001

Melanie was most recently the Center's Public Relations Manager before moving to her new position in the summer. She has worked as a publicist, marketer, producer and project manager in the metro-Denver arts community for almost 30 years. During that time, Melanie was press representative for many metro-area arts organizations, and project manager for national conferences including the Western Arts Alliance and Theatre Critics Association.

Lynne Collins, Artistic Director, Plays
Start Date: 2017

Provides artistic, creative and strategic direction for the Arvada Center's Performing Arts Plays Division. Lynne oversees and directs the Arvada Center Black Box Theatre Repertory Company.

Rod A. Lansberry, Producing Artistic Director of Musical Theatre
Start Date: 1990

Provides artistic, creative and strategic direction for the Arvada Center's Performing Arts Musicals Division, including Equity Theater, Children's Theater, concerts and special events; supports and coordinates with all necessary divisions in the promotion and marketing for Arvada Center performing arts.
