Rachel Childs, Communications Intern
Start Date: 2017

Rachel Childs is the Communications intern at CHLP. She is currently pursuing a Master's degree at the University of Denver in International and Intercultural Communications with a focus on non-profit strategic communication. She is a graduate from Colorado State University with degrees in journalism and tourism.

Rachel has worked in the media and communications industry including positions at travel PR firms, arts initiatives and online and print publications.

She is also a Peace Corps volunteer where she served as part of the natural resource program in Ecuador where she assisted in environmental education programs and promotions for a tree nursery.

In her off time, Rachel enjoys hiking and spending time with friends and family.

Lucinda Greene, Finance Manager
Start Date: 2015

Lucinda Greene is a proven business administrator and fundraiser focusing on the environment and education. She is a graduate of Stanford University with degrees in Economics, and American Studies. She worked 11 years in the banking industry as a commercial lender and turnaround specialist.

She served as Annual Campaign Chair for Stanford University, and St. Anne's Episcopal School. She has served on numerous non-profit boards including the Indianapolis Children's Bureau, Denver CASA, Learning Ally, and the Listening to Learn Guild.

She is a Master Gardener volunteer in Arapahoe County and is a Native Plant Master.
