Colin Laird, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2014

Over the last two decades, Colin has worked on finding community-based solutions to challenges faced at many levels of society - from transit funding and youth development to affordable housing and sustainable development.

In 2007, Colin helped create the Roaring Fork Community Development Corporation, which fostered the partnership to transform the Carbondale Elementary School into the Third Street Center. He served as the interim Executive Director of Third Street through the development and construction phase (2008-2010). He then helped create partnership between RFCDC and the Town of Basalt to the Town implement decade old goals of the community. Colin also has extensive facilitation and strategic planning experience.

Colin rejoined Third Street Center in July 2014.

Mark Taylor, Facility Manager
Start Date: 2012

After moving to the Roaring Fork Valley in 1989, Facilities Manager Mark Taylor initially worked in the ski industry. He then began and ran a successful construction business for 20 years, specializing in high performance energy efficient remodels and straw bale construction. Mark likes to say, "Volunteering builds community." He has been active in the arts for 20 years as production manager for the Carbondale Council on Arts and Humanities while also serving on its Board of Directors. He also volunteers by assisting our local nonprofit community radio station, KDNK with events.

Mark has managed facilities at Third Street since 2012.
