Ronald Kenneth Thomas, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2014

Ron Thomas is the Executive Director and Co-Founder of TinkerMill, the largest makerspace in the Rocky Mountain region. For the last thirteen years, Ron has grown international and local communities built on data-driven talent management, community service, and consistent creativity.

Ron's experience in community building comes from years as a Partner Account Manager, where he connected small businesses around the globe to the same talent management resources enjoyed by Fortune 50 companies.

Ron serves as a liaison between Boulder County Amateur Radio Emergency Services and Longmont Amateur Radio Club. Even while putting in countless hours of volunteer work, Ron is making sure the two groups are connecting to talk about their various achievements and needs.

At TinkerMill, Ron connects many varied groups of people. Engineers, designers, programmers, and artists have created several hyper-local communities under the TinkerMill umbrella. Ron's unique talent to remember a new visitor and his or her goals has led to countless project pairings around the different areas of the makerspace.

Ron earned his B.A. in mathematics from the University of Colorado.
