Mesa County Partners was established in 1977 and is currently comprised of three main programs .Our one-to-one mentoring program, Restitution/Work Program, and the Western Co. Conservation Corps serve over 1,000 at-risk youth in Mesa County annually.

Jill Derrieux, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2015

Jill Derrieux is the Executive Director of Finance and Business Development. She has worked in the finance field for over 15 years. Recently, she taught at Colorado Mesa University and Grand Junction High School. She has her Master's of Business Administration from Lindenwood University in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jeff Roberts, Director-Conservation Corps
Start Date:

Jeff is the Director of Western Colorado Conservation Corps. He has been with Mesa County Partners for 4 years and has his bachelor's degree in Business Administration/Management from the University of Southern Colorado. He was in management for 15 years in retail. and has been a volunteer firefighter and EMT for Clifton Fire District and Grand Junction Fire Department for 10 years.

Paula Mattas, Co-CEO
Start Date: 1995

Paula is the Co-Director at Mesa County Partners. She is in charge of all program operations. In her 20+ years with Partners, she has worked in all capacities of the program, giving her valuable insight on leading the organization. She has a Master's degree in Sociology and currently is the Board Chair of the state juvenile parole board.
