Sam Fuqua, CEO/Executive Director

Sam Fuqua brings specific experience in strategic planning, collaborative decision-making and effective communications to his role at Pop Culture Classroom (PCC).

Prior to joining PCC, he was Station Manager for KGNU, a community public radio station serving Boulder and Denver. In that role, he led efforts to increase the station's visibility and a successful capital campaign to triple the station's FM power. Before his transition to management, he was KGNU's News Director and an award-winning public radio journalist.

Sam Fuqua is also serving his second term as an elected member of the Boulder Valley Board of Education, the governing body of a 30,000-student school district in southern Boulder County. He is the current Board President.
