Scott Parker, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2013

Scott moved to Steamboat Springs in 1996 and has an extensive background in the performing arts and theater management. Scott is a founding member of the internationally acclaimed and award winning juggling and comedy troupe We're Not Clowns and has co-written, produced and directed ten original theatrical productions. He is also the former co-owner and operator of the Steamboat Mountain Theater that was located at the base of the Steamboat Ski Area in Ski Times Square. With a BS in Social Studies Secondary Education and an M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, Scott has been an educator at the Middle School, High School and corporate levels. Scott currently teaches theater workshops to students of all ages as part of the Chief Theater's youth theater program. Scott was ecstatic when the opportunity to run the Chief Theater became available and is amazed at how far the Chief Theater has come in its short history. Scott and his wife, Shannon, home-school their three children ages twelve, nine and four.
