The Aurora Symphony Orchestra (ASO) has provided orchestral music to the residents of Aurora for over 40 years as one of the leading cultural organizations in the community. The orchestra presents an annual concert series and music educational opportunities for families, children and individuals.

Our Executive director position is currently open, and we are accepting applications. This Position will be filled with a person who embraces the cultural arts community, lives in the Aurora Area, and is passionate about the vision and mission of the Aurora Symphony Orchestra

Norman Gamboa, Music Director
Start Date: 2014

Music Director of the Sonoma County Philharmonic in California, Norman Gamboa is also Music Director of the Aurora Symphony Orchestra and Principal Conductor of the Civic Youth Orchestra of Stapleton in Colorado. Gamboa is considered one of the most interesting up-and-coming Latin American conductors of the new generation. His numerous guest conducting appearances have included symphony orchestras throughout Louisiana, Texas, Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming, Minnesota, California, and Nevada.
