Leslie Vogt is a retired Budget Analyst for Colorado State University. She served on the board of Larimer Humane Society for seven years before starting Northern Colorado friends of Ferals to address the problems of overpopulation of community cats in Larimer and Weld counties.

Janet Link is a former educator and co-founder of Northern Colorado Friends of Ferals. She hails from Ohio where she volunteered her time in animal welfare before moving to Colorado to help the cats here.
