Beryl Durazo, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2016

Beryl Durazo - Executive Director (Full-Time), is the newest edition to the Firehouse Art Center team starting August 22,2016. Most recently she was the Development Director for the Inn Between of Longmont, Inc. and currently serves on the Board of the Bolder Young Professionals and the Longmont NeXt Young Professionals Committee. In addition Mrs. Durazo is an AFP Member, member of the Colorado Nonprofit Association and will be completing her CFRE certification in early 2017.
With over 7 years experience in the nonprofit sector, Mrs. Durazo hopes to bring best practices in procedures, grant-writing and fundraising to the Firehouse. In addition she will continue to partner with Curator, Jessica Kooiman-Parker to build a robust program of exhibition and arts education opportunities for Boulder County. Beryl is looking forward to spreading her love for the Arts and getting the community more involved in providing art programming for students!
