Kristin Parsons, Cat Division Coordinator
Start Date: 2018

Kristin is ARR's Cat Division Coordinator. She currently works as an elementary school teacher, as she has for the past 30 years. She volunteers monthly with TNR efforts in northern Colorado and helps place adoptable kittens into foster homes through ARR. She also works with the Cat Team to pull kittens from high-kill shelters in Texas, New Mexico, Kansas and Canon City, CO. She shares her home with seven cats, two dogs, and a betta fish, in addition to multiple foster cats. She and her husband and their three children live in Berthoud. Kristin attended the Best Friends National Conference in 2014.

Kelly Rushing, Dog Division Coordinator

Kelly Gray serves as Animal Rescue of the Rockies' Dog Division Coordinator. She is responsible for administering and coordinating all of our dog foster coordinators, overseeing all dog division operations, and acts as the Dog Division liaison for the Executive Director.

Kerrie Lynn, Cat Casita Manager

Kerri Lynn serves as Animal Rescue of the Rockies' Cat Casita Manager. She oversees all of the care and records for the adoptable cats living at the Cat Casita, which is located at High Paw Pet Supply in Fairplay, Colorado.

Karen T. Martiny, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2003

Karen Martiny is the original founder of Animal Rescue of the Rockies. She started the organization in Breckenridge, Colorado in 2003 to provide an alternative to the county shelter for homeless dogs and cats. Karen has over 30 years of experience in administrative, marketing, copywriting, and general business management. She and her husband live in Breckenridge with their 4 dogs and 3 cats.
