Sharon Henson, Vice President
Start Date:

I have been around dogs all my life. I helped my grandfather train hunting dogs when I was young. I worked for an animal shelter for 2 years and wanted to take them all home, I did take a few home, which were the under dogs. I always tended to the hurt and sick and wathc day by day as they get better. That creates a huge smile in my heart and soul.

My passion for small dogs is what caused me to be one of the founders of Chihuahua & Small Dog Rescue.

Sue Fisher, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2005

I have been a Manager for over 30 years prior to stating Chihuahua & Small Dog Rescue. My love for Chihuahuas and small dogs is one of the reasons for starting the organization.

My background is over 30 years as an accountant, office manager and supervised over 200 employees. I have 7 years experienc as Executive Director and President of Chihuahua & Small Dog Rescue.

When Chihuahua & Small Dog Rescue was formed, my experience was being a dog owner for all of my live, and had always treated pets as part of the family and never a disposable item. My love for small dogs and my business experience is what gave me skills needed to start and run a non profit to rescue small dogs.
