Jose Lopez, CEO/Executive Director

As Executive Director of RM BEST, Jose is the lead person responsible for the planning and implementation of the robotics competition. Jose's career as an engineer has included the United States Air Force in the engineering, operations and logistics fields and retired as a Colonel in 1993; Raytheon (retired in 2004) and Lockheed-Martin. Jose is currently a Lecturer in the Aviation and Aerospace Science departments at Metropolitan State University of Denver in addition to his role at RM BEST. Jose holds a BS in Aerospace Engineering (University of Tennessee, 1970) and an MS in Aerospace Engineering (St. Louis University, 1971).
