Suzanne Stephens, Executive Director

Suzanne Stephens is a Roaring Fork Valley native who has been working in the field of land conservation since 2001. She has been with Aspen Valley Land Trust since 2003 and assumed the executive director position in January 2016. Prior to AVLT, she has worked for the Roaring Fork Conservancy, Aspen Center for Environmental Studies, and the Western Colorado Agricultural Heritage Fund. She graduated from Reed College in Portland, Oregon with B.A. in biology in 1997. Suzanne lives in Carbondale with her husband and daughter, and enjoys spending as much time in our great outdoors as possible.
