Catherine Barnes, Case Manager
Start Date: 2016
Catherine Barnes began as CHP's Case Manager in February of 2016. Ms. Barnes is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado. She has worked as a program coordinator, multi-systemic family therapist, school social worker and a CASSA. She also gained experience as a counselor case worker at Savio House in Denver. She earned a B.A from University of Colorado in Psychology, and an MSW from University of Denver.
Signy Mikita, Executive Director
Start Date: 2016
Signy Mikita began as CHP's Executive Director at the end of 2016. Ms. Mikita has 12 years of HUD grant administration experience, including CDBG, HOME, and ESG funding for local governments, including the City of Aurora, the City of Westminster and Arapahoe County, Colorado. She also has 15 years of local land use planning and development.
She has experience in budgeting, financial management, procurement, cross cutting federal regulations, contracting, data reporting, as well as extensive experience in community development, affordable housing and homeless issues. She earned a B.A from Rice University in Political Science/Behavioral Sciences, an M.A from University of Maryland in American Government, and an M.U.R.P. from University of Virginia in Urban Public Policy and Development.
