John Sztukowski, Wildlands Conservation Coordinator

John oversees programs that focus on conservation of wild roadless areas on the Pike-San Isabel National Forest and BLM lands administered by the Royal Gorge Field Office. Most of his time is spent on BLM Lands with Wilderness Characteristics (LWC) inventory and participation in the BLM Eastern Colorado Resource Management Plan (RMP) process. John has an eclectic background ranging from climate change to sustainable agriculture to habitat restoration, and wilderness conservation. On a sunny day, you might catch him playing a round of disk golf.
