Chris Fuller, Deputy Director

As Deputy Director, Chris is the 'keeper of the data stuff', staying busy with database, bookkeeping, reporting, and admin support for the staff. Water/watershed issues have been of particular interest to Chris as a resident of South Park and former special water district board member. An Oklahoma University graduate, still practicing architecture and running her antique business, Chris grabs every opportunity to check out her favorite place, 'the road less traveled'
Jeff Ravage, North Fork Watershed Coordinator
Start Date: 2016
Jeff develops, oversees and manages projects in the Northfork watershed. Based in Bailey, he hits the ground in the 285 corridor planning projects, and cutting down the occasional tree. He designs and maintains CUSP websites, the CUSP Servers, and produces informational and training films. He also works in the field with crews and volunteers. He enjoys speaking to school groups and fostering a love of the "really real" world.
Jane Mannon, Development and Outreach Director
Start Date: 2018
Jane joined CUSP after working throughout the region and gaining contacts in connections with the community. Jane is a native of Colorado, and graduate of Colorado State University with a degree in Outdoor Recreation. She is expanding the outreach and development opportunities to help support CUSP as a sustainable organization.
Carol Ekarius, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 1999
Carol Ekarius has been the Executive Director for the Coalition for the Upper South Platte since 1999. She brings decades of experience in governmental and nonprofit management. Carol is a freelance writer and the author of nine books, including Small-Scale Livestock Farming: A Grass-based Approach for Health, Sustainability, and Profit, and most recently, The Fleece and Fiber Sourcebook. Her articles have appeared in magazines such as Alternative Medicine, Green Builder, Hobby Farms, Mother Earth News, Plenty, Western Horseman, and The Writer. As an author, Carol addresses a diversity of topics and specializes in sustainable, small-scale agriculture and farming and environmental solutions. Carol holds a Civil Engineering Degree from the University of Colorado at Denver. She lives with her husband, Ken Woodard, and their farm menagerie near Cripple Creek.
Jonathan Bruno, Chief Operating Officer
Start Date: 2003
Jonathan Bruno has a Masters in Public Administration from University of Colorado, and graduated from the Executive Leadership program at Yale University's School of Forestry and Environmental Studies. Jonathan is credited with millions in awarded grants and has strong expertise in environmental policies, forestry management, as well as health and safety issues. As Chief Operating Officer with the Coalition for the Upper South Platte, he has helped to lead and grow this highly successful and nationally recognized watershed organization.
