Founded in 1992, we are a community non-profit that offers low-cost rehabilitation services and support to stroke survivors and their families in Colorado. The Rocky Mountain Stroke Center is where recovery continues and we strive to help families find life after stroke.

Esther Fretz, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 1994

Esther Fretz has a Master's Degree in Public Adminisstration and a Ph.D. in Social Work. She has spent 30+ years in nonprofit management in Colorado. She has raised over $10 million in local, federal, state, foundation and corporation grants. She has received the following awards: Colorado Legislature Tribute and Delegate to the White House Conference on Older Women.

Carly Lancaster, Program Director/Licensed Social Worker
Start Date: 2016

Carly has her MSW from University of Denver and helps with program development and community outreach. She provides counseling for both survivors and caregivers and leads caregiver support groups.
She is working toward her LCSW, and currently holds an LSW in the state of Colorado.

Lindsey Robison, Licensed Social Worker
Start Date: 2018

Lindsey has her MSW from University of Denver and helps with program coordination and community outreach. She provides counseling for stroke survivors and caregivers. She leads the young stroke group and other stroke survivor support groups. She is working toward her LCSW and currently holds her LSW in the state of Colorado.
