Susie Stebbins, Director of Human Resources

Susie Stebbins has been with Senior Housing Options since November of 2017. She has been in the field of Human Resources (HR) for over eight years, and started her HR career managing and auditing benefit accounts for several organizations. She received her Bachelors of Science degree from University of Wyoming in Molecular Biology and Medical Microbiology and had a minor in Chemistry. Prior to her career in HR, Susie worked several years as a caregiver and Certified Nurse Assistant for home health and assisted living centers. In 2017, Susie was excited to join the Senior Housing Options (SHO) team, and was excited that she was still going to be in the presence and environment of caring for people, as well as being in the her desired career path in Human Resources. She was also able to bring her years of prior experience of working in 24-hour care facilities to aid SHO in their 24-hour assisted living facilities. In her spare time, Susie loves spending time with family, reading, going to concerts and cultural events, and cooking. She is currently working on obtaining her Master's degree in Human Resources Management with a specialization in Organizational Development. She is also a proud wife and mother.
Tawna Scalese, Director of Accounting | Finance

With more than 20 years of experience in accounting, finance, operations, mergers and acquisitions, Ms. Scalese has spent 10 years of her career in the healthcare industries. She combines her business skills with her passion to help other leaders take the fear and confusion out of numbers. She has consulted with both for profit, not for profits and privately held companies as CFO. System conversions, banking relationships and revenue diversification are among some of the skillsets Ms. Scalese brings to SHO. Ms. Scalese has received a dual emphasis Master of Business Administration degree (accounting and finance) from Regis University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration (Accounting) from Metropolitan State College of Denver.
Wade Clark, Director of Facilities

Wade Clark brings more than 20 years of experience in Human Services. Before joining SHO, Wade spent over 10 years doing Project Management and contracting for numerous federal Agencies. Including multiple Programs focused on providing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. Handling every aspect of the contracts from the bidding process through hiring, training, and ensuring a successful outcome for the employees, the employer and facilities was a challenge he enjoyed. It also provided him with the extensive experience to share in his positions at SHO. Wade started in 2013 as the Human Resources Director and moved to take over the Facilities department in 2016. Wade and his wife enjoy traveling, sharing company with their dogs and any opportunity to see, play, or listen to music!
Vennita Jenkins, Regional Director of Operations

Vennita joined Senior Housing Options, Inc. in April of 2017 as the Regional Director of Operations. Prior to joining SHO, Vennita was the Center Director at InnovAge Greater Colorado PACE, Lakewood for seven years and served as an assisted living administrator for over 17 years. Vennita has served on various boards and task forces in Colorado where she has been active in older adults legislative movements and championing affordable senior housing efforts. More specifically she served as past member of Housing Colorado membership committee, Leading Age Public Policy Congress (Sub Committee Pilots for new regulations) Washington, DC, Innovage Ethics Committee, Past Board Member for Seniors' Resource Center, Legislative Champion for Leading Age Colorado, Current Board member and Treasurer for Leading Age Colorado, past member of Governor's advisory committee for HB1374 and SB173, past member of FGI ALR Sub Group for CDPHE, current member of group living advisory committee. Vennita holds a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Business Management and a Master's Degree in Business Administration.
James H. Goddard, Executive Director

As SHO's Executive Director since February 2017, Jim leads the staff team and works directly with the Board to deliver the mission, and facilitates planning toward new opportunities for the organization. He has his Property Compliance Certificate from Novogradic. With over 30 years of senior-level leadership experience in health care, informal education, and project management, Jim brings in-depth understanding of, and broad connections within, the non-profit sector in Colorado.
His experience includes partnering with hundreds of organizations to expand health screening for people of all ages across the state, delivery of programs and support of research to help manage and prevent arthritis, engagement of the public in science and health education programs and presentations, guiding the building of a new hospital facility, and management of direct delivery of healthcare.
Jim is an avid outdoors man, photographer and exercise enthusiast. He volunteers to support local youth education as well as international health education through his Rotary club. He is an amateur Olympic Games historian and collector, and he loves spending time with his wife, Diane, and sons Wyatt and Sawyer.
Roberta Lott-Holmes, Marketing and Development Manager

Roberta joined SHO in June of 2019 after working in the Hospice field for many years. Roberta holds both Bachelor and Master Degrees in Healthcare and Non-Profit Administration and is currently pursuing her Masters in Public Health from Metropolitan State University. Roberta's passion to care for the elder population fuels her mission to seek out and provide resources so that seniors can live the best life possible in their golden years of life. Roberta is a passionate photographer, owning and operating her own photography business, Silent Expressions Photography, since 2000. She has called Colorado her home since 1982, and lives in Wheat Ridge with her wife of 15 years.
