Rebecca Reutlinger, Vice President of Development
Start Date: 2018

Rebecca leads the organization in raising its annual unrestricted fundraising goals through managing individual and corporate donor relationships, the annual campaign and the Achieve Gala. Prior to joining the team at the DPS Foundation, Rebecca worked for over six years at National Jewish Health in both the Denver and Washington, D.C. regional office and served in a variety of fundraising and special event roles during that time. Rebecca has worked for non-profits her entire career and brings a strong mission-driven focus to implementing successful fundraising initiatives to the organization. Rebecca's favorite part of her job is the opportunity to share with and connect the community directly to the important work the foundation is leading to help ensure every student succeeds.

Veronica Figoli, President & CEO
Start Date: 2016

Verónica Figoli is the President & CEO of the Denver Public Schools Foundation. As a bilingual, multicultural leader with broad experience in education, entertainment, retail and healthcare within the international for-profit and non-profit sectors, she leads the DPS Foundation by overseeing strategy, operations and fundraising.

Verónica joined the DPS Foundation from DPS' Family and Community Engagement Office (FACE) where she served as the Chief Officer and led efforts to broaden parent and community engagement processes and strategies. Prior to her time at FACE, Verónica served as a Program Officer at the Piton Foundation where she worked with the Foundation's grantees, as well as other foundations, grassroots organizations, and community stakeholders, to help advance key initiatives supporting student achievement and adult self-sufficiency.

Verónica brings to all her roles deep experience in strategic communications and management honed from providing counsel to a variety of employers and clients, including Turner Network Television Latin America, Comcast Cable Latino, Susan G. Komen for the Cure (Denver), the City of Denver and Metropolitan State University of Denver. Originally from Venezuela, Verónica graduated from Universidad Metropolitana in Caracas, and obtained her master's degree in Business Administration from Kennesaw State University in Georgia. Verónica has been selected by the Aspen Institute for its inaugural class of Colorado Children & Families
Health and Human Services Fellows, which invests in visionary leaders committed to making Colorado the best place to have a child and sustain a thriving family. She lives in Denver with her husband David and her two vivacious boys, John, who attends DSST Byers and is a proud Falcon, and Mateo, a proud Carson Elementary Cougar.

Kimberly Martinez, Vice President of Finance & Operations
Start Date: 2006

Kim Martinez has been with Denver Public Schools Foundation since 2006 and is responsible for its finances, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, grant compliance, human resources and information technology.

Prior to joining the team at DPS Foundation, Kim worked for seven years as an auditor with a mid-size Denver CPA firm where she specialized in nonprofit, credit union and retirement plan audits.

She graduated summa cum laude from Metropolitan State College of Denver (now Metropolitan State University of Denver) with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and received her CPA license shortly after.

Kim is Vice Chair of the Supervisory/Audit Committee at Westerra Credit Union, is on the Leadership Committee of Colorado Nonprofit Financial Peers, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants and is a graduate of the Leadership Arts|Denver program.
