David Prouty, Community Outreach Coordinator

Works on testing, outreach, and education in community settings and events.

Tessa Torgeson, Patient Navigator
Start Date: 2020

Tessa manages the national Helpline and assists clients in navigating the health care system so that they can access the medical resources they need, works on newsletter, social media, and other projects to raise awareness about viral hepatitis and liver disease.

Alisha Baca, HIV/HCV Prevention Coordinator
Start Date: 2019

Provides sexual health and harm reduction education as well as HCV and HIV testing to populations at risk of contracting HIV and/or hep C.

Olivia Haloi, Director of Community Engagement
Start Date: 2020

Recently joined LHC team as Director of Community Engagement. Identifies programs and services that will achieve the goals as outlined in Liver Health Connection's strategic plan, secures grant funding to support funding, manages Colorado Department of Health and Environment grant budgets, manages Viral Hepatitis Task Force, supervises staff.

Nancy Steinfurth, Executive Director
Start Date: 2007

Ms. Steinfurth was appointed Executive Director of Liver Health Connection in January 2007. She has over 30 years experience in nonprofit and public sector management, including positions as Executive Director of the Art Students League of Denver (ASLD) and National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts. She served as Associate Director of Colorado Council on the Arts and Marketing Director for the College of Arts & Media (CAM) at University of Colorado at Denver. Ms. Steinfurth has strong skills in the areas of: fundraising, special events, program management, Board development, marketing, and administration.
