Mark Raburn, Program Staff
Start Date: 2018

Mark has 30 years of woodworking experience and has joined our staff after joining our participant community where he participated over the last two years. Mark is now in charge of our wood workshop and continues to help us plan and implement our garden.

Daneel Arias, Administrative Assistant
Start Date: 2018

Born and raised in New York, Daneel graduated from SUNY Purchase College with a bachelor's degree in Arts Management and Administration. Daneel has a passion for fundraising as he gets the opportunity to spread awareness of the important work that non-profits do for their communities. The open community and positive support that is provided at EarthLinks is why Daneel loves being a part of the team. Feel free to ask Daneel about his favorite movies, shows, and bands.

Laura Schneiter, Program Assistant
Start Date: 2015

A Colorado native and graduated from CU Denver with a Bachelors in Psychology and a minor in Environmental Science. She has a passion for studying humans relationships to their environment and ways to learn skills to enhance community resilience. She recently graduated from a national volunteer program called AmeriCorps National Civilian Community Corps where she traveled to various communities and learned skills in trail building, construction, gardening and environmental restoration. When she is not woodworking in the EarthLinks garage, she enjoys hiking, making jewelry, playing with dogs and eating pizza.

Jay Reszka, Case Manager
Start Date: 2019

Wisconsin born and raised, Jay has a Master's of Divinity from Notre Dame and has spent his entire working life employed by human service non-profit organizations; much of this time with several metro Denver agencies or churches working with lower income populations. Most recently, he was the Case Manager for a small homeless shelter in Thornton, CO. His passion is helping marginalized and isolated individuals re-discover their unique gifts and talents and regain their place in community.

Kathleen M. Cronan, CEO/Executive Director
Start Date: 2009

Kathleen, or Cass, has a J.D. degree and practiced law in the Denver Metro area for 30 years prior to coming to EarthLinks in 2009. She is the past Executive Director of a day shelter for the homeless in Denver, and has been active in social justice ministries as a volunteer throughout her adult life. She is a native of Denver, Colorado.

Alix Midgley, Program and Garden Director
Start Date: 2019

Alix is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working alongside people experiencing homelessness and displacement for over a decade in various capacities. In addition to her direct service experience, Alix previously worked on a small organically cultivated vegetable farm in Mancos, CO, and earned her Master Gardener Certification in La Plata County, CO. She is passionate about restoring a sense of belonging and self-worth among those who have been marginalized through earth-based engagement and connection.

Mary Nelle Gage, Marketing Coordinator

Sr. Mary Nelle, a Sister of Loretto, is a part-time employee with EarthLinks since 2003 and is the Marketing Coordinator. Using her many years of marketing and customer service experience, she helps manage the volunteer sales team and arranges for sales at more than 60 locations throughout the year. She brings great energy to everything she does.

Carolyn Thornton, Community Engagement Director
Start Date: 2014

Carolyn, a Baltimore native, received a Bachelors of Science degree, focusing on Art Education from Towson University in Maryland. She coordinates sales, the EarthLinks Volunteer Program, social media, online and print outreach, and community events.
